Typically the jobs which come to mind from when we are younger are nurses, lawyers, doctors, CEOs, dentists and accountants as well as engineers. Electricians and Plumbers are always needed, so one would not need to worry about the job market.

Accountants are also a financially rewarding career and could bring in six figure salaries.

Economics is not as useless or solely math-oriented as you may believe. You could enjoy a spectrum of disciplines within the field from social science and psychology to history. Economists are also needed to develop public policy and advise domestically and abroad.

A degree in Physics can serve as a gateway into science, education and engineering as well as enter into the academic field as a professor, high school teacher or lab technician.

The world of technology is rapidly developing and people with competent skills to keep up with such evolutions are needed. This is where computer science degrees and IT people have no need to worry! You can work on computers, video games, apps

Statisticians and mathematicians enjoy an intellectually stimulating career.

Biochemistry graduates mainly go in with the ambition of eventually entering medicine. However, they can find jobs as a lab technician or research assistants. One of the drawbacks of working in a chemical lab is the constant exposure to chemicals and potential illnesses related to that.
