‘Miss Universe’ 2015: Top 5 Predictions, Hot Picks REVEALED! ‘Miss World,’ ‘Miss Universe’ To Have Back-To-Back Telecast Under New Formats In December

Beauty pageant enthusiasts are definitely excited for the upcoming "Miss Universe" and "Miss World" 2015 as these annuals event will be will be televised back-to-back under new formats in December. The 65th Miss World pageant will have a live telecast from Sanya, China on Dec. 19 while the 64th Miss Universe competition will be broadcasted from Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 20.
For the first time in more than five decades and since their inceptions, two of the most prestigious beauty pageant worldwide, "Miss Universe" and "Miss World" 2015 competitions will have a back-to-back broadcast. And as for "Miss Universe 2015," it will be now under the helm of William Morris Endeavor/International Management Group (WME/IMG) after they have acquired the Miss Universe Organization from business tycoon and presidential candidate Donald Trump, Rappler noted.
Established in 1952, WME/IMG is a global leader in entertainment, sports, events, media and fashion. They have produced shows such as "Macy's Presents Fashion's Front Row" and global lifestyle festivals including Taste Festivals and Lollapalooza.
"Miss Universe is a unique, global media property and this partnership with Fox marks a new era for The Miss Universe Organization as a whole," IMG SVP Michael Antinoro said, as per Variety. "As the broadcast leader in innovative and groundbreaking live events, Fox is the perfect partner as we look to implement new and exciting changes to this show and the franchise."
The "Miss Universe" 2015 will also be broadcasted from The Axis at Planet Hollywood on Sunday, Dec. 20. The three-hour telecast will be broadcasted on FOX instead of NBC. During this event, contestants from more than 80 countries will vie to become the next "Miss Universe" and will conclude with current Miss Universe Paulina Vega of Colombia crowning her successor.
Since the "Miss Universe" 2015 coronation night is just around the corner, beauty pageant analyst Missosology have already released their top picks and predictions. Among the site's first official hot picks include: Ariana Miyamoto of Japan, Ariadna Guiterrez-Arevalo of Colombia, Catalina Morales of Puerto Rico, Wendy Esparza of Mexico, Anindya Putri of Indonesia, Daniela Torres of Nicaragua, Pia Alonzo Wurtzback of the Philippines, Whitney Shikongo of Angola, Annelies Toros of Belgium, Mariana Jimenez of Venezuela, Francesca Cipriani of Ecuador and Denisa Vysnovska of Slovak Republic.
For Missosology's second official top picks, Philippines' Pia Wurtzback led the list after both her official and candid photos showed how much she has dramatically improved. While on the site's third official hot picks, Brazil's Marthina Brandt stopped the pageant analysts on their tracks as she lured them by her angelic beauty queen aura. Along with Brazil, India's Urvashi Rautela, Vietnam's Pham Thi Huong, Russia's Vladislava Evtushenko and Indonesia's Anindya Putri are also on the top five predictions. As previously reported, the predictions are generally based on the candidates' recognition, poise and exquisiteness.
Aside from "Miss Universe" 2015, Missosology has also released its official hot picks lists for the upcoming "Miss World" 2015 on Dec. 19. The beauty pageant will also be under a new format and will finally scrap the swimsuit round, which has been part of the competition since 1951, this year.
"I really don't need to see women walking up and down in their bikinis. It doesn't do anything for the woman. And it doesn't do anything for any of us," Miss World Organization Julia Morley said, as per Manila Bulletin.
