If you were following the slow tango of Klaus and Cami as they danced around with the nature of their feelings towards each other, you'll be very happy to know that the two finally did kiss on the balcony before climbing into bed and spent the night together in "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale. But, (spoilers!) sorry to burst your bubble, that was the last time they'll ever be together (presuming Leah Pipe's character does not come back to life as a vampire) as Klaus woke up from a deep slumber covered in his beloved Cami's blood.
What?! Yes, Klaus came out of his sleep to see Cami's lifeless body, throat slit open in "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale's closing moments.
Take a deep breath and try to process the information. We'll get to that juicy details in a bit.
TV Guide's "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale recap revealed Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) only sister, Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt) awoke from her "nap" inside the coffin tossed by the order of her sire, Aurora, into the sea. There's a catch, though, as she came out a different person, thanks to the curse placed by The Strix on the dagger used to stake her.
Rebecca was unable to stay long and have a chat or help her siblings fight their sirelines though as Elijah was forced to dagger his sister. Unfortunately, Freya (Riley Voelkel) has still to figure out a way on how to reverse the spell placed upon by The Strix's witch.
TV Fanatic added, "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale also showed Vincent claiming his power when Marcel pushed him in the gym. Speaking of Marcel, he might be the one who can save the Mikaelson's and the quarter altogether since he's done a good job in making his moves without his opponents knowing.
As for the Elijah/Hayley/Jackson relationship, "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale sort of addressed the status of Hayley's feelings for the two men in her life. Hayley has deep feelings for Elijah complicated by the truth that she's also in love with Jackson.
Now, back to Klaus and Cami's bittersweet union. "The Originals" Season 3 Winter Finale may have probably set the stage for Klaus going full hybrid to seek vengeance for the one who killed the light of his life. Presuming it's Aurora, she better hide or run because Klaus will relentlessly pursue the person who took away his new found happiness. And to think, Klaus and Cami waited so long and tried to dodge their feelings for each other only to end up in a tragedy.
Meanwhile, Tristan was still busy scheming for a way to topple down Klaus together with her psychotic sister Aurora, as per TV Fanatic.
