Is Caitlyn Jenner Too Hypocritical And Indifferent To The LGBT Community, Kim Kardashian's Family?

Following Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover and tell-all, it seems that she has been walking on thin ice for the things she does and the things she says. This week, Kris Jenner’s ex is once again under fire for the “hypocrisy” and “Indifference” she’s showing to the LGBT community and even to her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian’s family.
Before this week ends, Caitlyn has once again walked on thin ice for the things she's said about the LGBT community. She did an interview with United States ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Powers, and the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star seemed to have hit the wrong note when she spoke of the issues against the LGBT community.
According to Towerload, it was quite odd that Caitlyn noted she's "comfortable" with the issues the LGBT community is facing in the United States. Her indifference has quickly caused many activities to call her "an insult to trans women" since she's pretty much unaware of the discrimination, poverty and other issues trans people are facing given her fame and fortune.
"If you look at issues on a worldwide basis, I'm pretty comfortable with the issues here in the United States. We have come a long way, we have a long way to go. We've come a long way," Jenner was quoted as saying.
She also compared this scene from the issues faced by the LGBT community internationally, and she said, "But If you look at this on an international level, these issues are huge. I mean, people are murdered, killed, hung over this issue, and it just doesn't have to be that way."
Advocate noted that Caitlyn said such words despite the fact that 21 trans women were killed in the United States this 2015. Most of the victims are said to be trans women of color. There is even a high rate of suicide among the trans community in relation to violence.
Caitlyn Jenner's indifference and hypocrisy were all the more criticized by Cosmopolitan and even called out the "transphobic stereotyping" Caitlyn made in spite of being awarded one of Time's "Person of the Year."
All the more shocking in her recent revelations are her words about trans people who really look the part. She said, "I think it's much easier for a trans woman or a trans man who authentically kind of looks and plays the role. So what I call my presentation. I try to take that seriously. I think it puts people at ease. If you're out there and, to be honest with you, if you look like a man in a dress, it makes people uncomfortable."
Another shocker that came this week is Hollywood Life's claim that Caitlyn does not want Kim, Kanye and their kids to stay at her Malibu house at the moment while Kimye's house is under renovation.
"Caitlyn absolutely Loves Kim and Kanye [West] and her two grandchildren, but in no way shape or form does she want Kim and company at her house for an extended period of time!" an insider of the mag said.
The insider revealed that the "I Am Cait" star refused Kris' request to have Kim and her family stay at the former's house so Kris can have a break from her mommy duties to Kim and granny duties to North and Saint West.
With all these on her plate, has Caitlyn Jenner really become too "hypocritical" and "indifferent?" Sound off below.
