Before the year ends, salary comparison and job search site Glassdoor has honored the Best Places to Work in 2016 on its annual Employees' Choice Awards. The winners were determined based on the ranking made by their employees, who shared their experiences in the companies they're working for in over the past twelve months.
The top 10 Best Places to Work in 2016 were named based on the company reviews provided by the employees between Nov. 13, 2013 and Nov. 2, 2014. According to Forbes, the employees were asked to consider and rate based on the following factors: Overall Satisfaction, CEO Leadership, Career Opportunities, Compensation and Work-Life Balance. In addition, employees were also asked to weigh whether they would recommend a friend seek employment at their companies, as well as their employer's business outlook for the next six months.
Glassdoor's Top 10 Best Places to Work in 2016 list was created using the site's proprietary algorithm. And the companies on the final ranking have over 1,000 employees and represent a broad spectrum of industries and missions. And to be eligible for the list, a company should receive at least 75 reviews.
"For anyone hoping to find a job and company they love," Glassdoor CEO Robert Hohman said. "These companies stand tallest for providing outstanding work environments and company cultures."
