Just this week, Faris made the headlines as the 39 year old star stated that, "she exploits her son" which was reported by Daily Mail. Her statement however was a joke as it was just a response from one Tweet which asked them as to whether their son Jack would pursue acting or not.
As per E! News reports, during an interview with Conan O' Brian during his talk show Conan, Anna Faris gushed about her son's cuteness. The talk show host then asked her if she and her husband Chris Pratt are training their son to become a star.
The talk show host asked the "Mom" star: "Does he have the acting bug? Is that something you are going to encourage or discourage?"
Faris then answered, "Oh encourage because I need a back-up plan."
She then jokingly added that, "What if Mom gets cancelled or something like that? I need to find a way."
Though she would usually joke around when it comes to her son, but their mother-son time is most definitely of good quality. E! News then added that Faris did admit that she wanted to be an acting coach.
"I've been trying to teach him a little acting lessons. I just want to be like, I like to be in charge, I want to be a camp counselor. I want to be a teacher. I never got to be an acting coach. I had to resort to be an actor. I get wish fulfillment by giving acting lessons."
Two months ago, Faris also made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, wherein she was asked on what her son's Halloween costume would be. As per Daily Mail, the actress stated that her son would want to be a T-Rex for Halloween, but she made it clear that it's not to promote Jurassic Park.
Adolrable as it may seem, having Jack wear a T-Rex costume may arouse speculations that the couple is using their son for promotion. This being said however, Faris is still keeping her hopes up that people won't judge them as a couple for letting Jack wear the costume he wanted.
