The Atlanta-based chain expanded to New York City. On October 3, Chick-fil-A Manhattan opened at the corner of West 37th street and 6th avenue, where people can't really miss out on. It stood on a three-story building with a 5,000 square foot space. It was one of the 88 restaurants that Chick-fil-A opened across the US in the year 2015.

The company started rolling out table service in its restaurants. Employees of the food chain now goes around to make sure that the customers are being properly catered to and comfortable. They make sure that the tables are clean, beverages are refilled and condiments are complete. A plastic table marker is also given to the people who order, avoiding a long wait at the counter. Chick-fil-A's vice president of menu strategy and development David Farmer told Business Insider that this service will help clear out the counter area and customers are able to avoid the hassle of waiting, which is usually one of the top complains in fast food chains.

Chick-fil-A also got rid of their 49-year-old coleslaw option on the menu, and replaced it with kale and broccolini salad. The company also tested new sauces to add on their menu. Apart from the smokehouse barbecue bacon sandwich and side of a baked potato, they also launched their latest frosted lemonade nationwide.
