Would it be wonderful to have a crystal ball to help you choose a career that has the greatest chances of success? If so, you will not be wasting your time and effort in studying and preparing for a job that turns out to be something that will not help you achieve your goals.

Lacking the proverbial crystal ball, you may want to consider the information released by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics and other career consultants. It has some clues that will help you decide which career will get you where you want to go.

1. Environmental Engineers - since the world is now searching for solutions to its growing environmental problems, your chance of landing a job in this field will be great. You will also help the world to be a better place to live in.

2. Mobile Media Designers - most communications nowadays involve mobile phones. There would be greater need for graphic designers, app-developers, video editors, software engineers and videographers in the future.

3. Biomedical Engineers - these engineers are responsible for the design and development of a broad range of health care system - things that are needed to make people live happier and longer.

4. Data Mining Engineers - ever wonder why the pop ads appearing on your PC or laptop seem to be directed precisely towards what you want? That's because data miners have accessed your patterns of accessing information over the internet. According to a study conducted by the University of California, Berkeley, information in the world increase two times every three years. That means more additional workers will be needed in this field.

5. Network Systems Analysts - the world is now interconnected through a communication network.  If the worldwide web is to continue, workers will be required to design and maintain the Local Area Network (LAN), the Wide Area Network (WAN) and other types of network systems that make it go.
