One Direction's Louis Tomlinson confirms he is now officially a dad to a healthy and 'pretty amazing' baby boy, as reported by Billboard on Saturday.
Just recently, reports about Tomlinson and her stylist and former girlfriend Briana Jungwirth having a child together started circulating around the web. The boy band member took to his Twitter to confirm the rumor that shook the world of the 'Directioners'.
Tomlinson posted a series of tweets that showed his excitement as a first-time dad. "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!" the 24-year-old wrote. He then tweeted a music note and headphones emoji writing "Daddy daddy cool." He made his extreme giddiness a little bit more obvious when he posted a tweet of three smiley faces.
According to Independent, Tomlinson has reportedly picked a name for his son. A source told The Sun that even though the couple are not together anymore and have yet to sort the custody problems later on, they both have agreed to call their son Sydney Rain. The source also added that it is not yet known as to whether the baby boy will be taking Tomlinson or Jungwirth as his surname. "Louis and Briana are yet to file a birth certificate but they've agreed on the name Sydney Rain. It will be rubber-stamped in the next five days," the source said.
Tomlinson was recently pictured stepping out out of a residence in Los Angeles, California, who appeared to be getting the grips of fatherhood as he grapples a car seat but it was not clear if his son was in it. He was not accompanied by anyone, not even his current girlfriend Danielle Campbell, but a bodyguard assisted him with his daddy duties.
