In time for the Mobile World Congress 2016, LG is set to launch its latest models of smartphones, the Lg G5 on Feb. 21. The company has already sent out its invites for the event that many have suspected will launch LG's flagship phone for 2016.
There are already some leaks going around the internet about the Lg G5 which gives anticipating LG fans with some information about the smartphone.
It appears that the fans can expect a new camera system for the new LG mobile. As with the LG G4 and LG G3, the Lg G5 will have manual camera settings giving more freedom and flexibility to users. The new model will also come with potent camera hardware.
LG is known for using bright and vibrant colors and some suspect that the Lg G5 will come with a new display technology, perhaps with OLED screens. The new model may also have a unique accessory lot at the bottom. Because of the invites that the company gave with hints of floating shapes, some believe that it could mean the new unit will run on the Android Marshmallow.
The electronic giant has been hesitant in integrating a fingerprint scanner in its mobile. The LG G3 is not equipped with a scanner and so with all the rest of its line-up. Its closest attempt in this direction is with the Nexus 5X which comes with a scanner at the back of the unit. But that mobile is more like a Google phone not an LG one.
LG's rivals, Samsung has incorporated fingerprint scanners in its Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6. Apple already had finger print scanners on its major iPhone lines.
But this time, the Lg G5 will also come with a fingerprint scanner at the back. That would mean the location of the rear volume rockers will be changed. Perhaps it will be placed on the side spine of the unit.
