Zoolander 2 brings back the famous Magnum but is it that easy for Derek Zoolander to pull off after a long period of isolation?
Derek Zoolander, played by Ben Stiller, is known for portraying Magnum - the very same look that stopped a ninja's throwing star mid-air in the first Zoolander movie and the look that inspired other celebrities in Zoolander 2.
The new trailer shows Hansel, played by Owen Wilson, forcefully trying to persuade Derek Zoolander to execute the inspiring Magnum look once again. It proves to be very difficult for the pair as Hansel tries to throw furniture and other hard objects at Zoolander's head. One thing is for sure, Hansel doesn't miss.
Hansel tries to recruit Zoolander back in the game because celebrities like Bieber are being hunted down. A video clip from Entertainment Tonight shows the Biebs taking a selfie and as a last resort with his last breath, he does his best Blue Steel impression - somewhat like a Bat Signal, after being hunted down by an unknown murderer then dies. Zoolander 2 focuses on the killing of the world's most beautiful people by an unknown assassin which is why Hansel and Zoolander is on the mission to saving the world's famous faces, hands, legs and other modeling parts with an Interpol Agent named Valentina, played by Penelope Cruz.
The Zoolander sequel also confirms Will Ferrel's return to the big screen with newcomers Penelope Cruz and Kristen Wiig. Video clips from Paramount shows Will Ferrels character, Mugatu, trying to kiss Wiig's character through her head gear.
Will Derek Zoolander be successful in capturing the culprit? Will the world see the famous Magnum look again? We just have to wait for the premiere. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 12.
