Facebook seems to be working in frenzy lately. The have been developing android mobile apps as if these things are going out of style. One of these apps is the Facebook Lite.
As of late, this social media giant has stand-alone apps that are designed for Pages, Rooms, Home, Groups, Messenger, Facebook at Work, Slingshot and Stickered for Messenger.
Facebook Lite has the capacity to store data and can work in all kinds of network conditions. That means it can even work on slow mobile connections which seems to give it the widest range of adaption among its rivals.
Fans and users of Facebook will love this new app because they can easily and quickly install it in their mobiles. It is very light in the sense that it only has 1 MB storage capacity and yet it can do a lot of things.
It is able to work on all types of Android phones, it uses less data, and it is designed for 2G networks and in locations where the connections are either slow or unstable.
The new features will make Facebook Lite the favorite of the masses. Its shove notifications are now available on all android phones and there are improvements to make it faster even when using slow connections. The user only needs to install Facebook for Android to enjoy the full implementation of Facebook.
Facebook Lite was originally intended to be used in developing countries. It is designed to assist the social network on-board for its projected billion users in these regions. Being a lighter version, it does not have data-intensive features like the full-fledged version. Therefore, users will not be able to share videos. Nearby Friends is not also included.
If Facebook users in these areas can accept these limitations, together with lower-resolution image thumbnails, they can have a quicker, smoother, and cheaper Facebook access from the remotest parts of the world.
