R&B artist Ciara sues ex-fiancé and the father of her kid rapper Future for $15 million, in a report by NME on Monday.
The lawsuit alleges that the rapper slandered and libelled the singer with the use of Twitter and as well as during his interviews. Ciara has cited several interviews and tweets wherein Future has questioned and challenged her skills as a mother, according to TMZ.
TMZ also stated that Future blasting Ciara and her relationship with Russell Wilson is all for publicity. In the suit obtained by TMZ, Ciara calls out her ex for a radio interview where he discussed a photo of Wilson pushing Ciara and Future's kid in his stroller. "She probably set him [Russell] up. You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts," Future stated.
Ciara points out how pissed she is about Future's tweets about her saying that she has control problems and that he has to go through lawyers just to see his son for $15 thousand a month. In the suit, she says that she goes out of her way to make sure Future sees their kid and have had at least 19 visitations since December of 2014.
According to TMZ, Ciara believes that Future's comments on hi Twitter and interviews were said with malice and she will continue with the suit for libel and slander, and is commanding to get all his 'nasty' tweets about her deleted. She also wants to disable Future from saying anything about private family-related stuff regarding their child.
Future proposed to Ciara back in 2013 with a 15-carat engagement ring surprise to go during her birthday party in New York and the two have then reportedly been dating for over a year. In 2015, the rapper clarified that their engagement has long been called off even before all the cheating rumors arose.
