Like some first dates, they tend to be awkward. DeadPool actor Ryan Reynolds shares his experience about his first date with current wife Blake Lively. He also tells us what it's like being a dad.
The first time they met, they were filming on the set of Green Lantern. They first became good friends and the friendship soon blossomed. But before they tied the knot, they actually went on a double date first.
Reynolds describes their initial relationship as being buddies. Their timing was way off and the DeadPool actor remenisces, "I remember it was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff we were both single," he describes the memory. They went on a double date, each with their own partners.
And just like that, buddies soon became lovers and eventually partners in life.
Reynolds is currently busy promoting the newly released film, DeadPool. But that doesn't stop him from being a dad to a beautiful baby girl they named James Reynolds.
They have been the most sought after beautiful couple to walk the red carpets but ever since Lively gave birth, they have sheltered themselves indoors, avoiding the limelight. Now, that's going to change since Reynold's is already done with DeadPool.
He poked fun at his life of being a dad and a movie actor with a hectic schedule. " One of the most common things in the world is making out, having a couple of drinks, and then doing it, and then having a baby. I was perfectly sober for this one though. I gotta say," Reynolds joked.
Even though he jokes, he appears to be in total love with his child. "I love it. I truly worship that kid...She says 'dada' and I will walk through a cement wall to get to her", says Reynolds when describing his excitement at being a father.
