Five Actors Who Hated Their Own Films

Just like normal employees who have the tendency to despise their jobs, even the best actors we know have their own little regrets about some things that they've done. When one plays a role in a movie, his "real-life" self is oftentimes associated with his character. What if that certain character is the exact opposite of who they are as a person? Isn't that extra-riveting?
Here are five actors and actresses who actually hated some of the movies they were in:
1. Ben Affleck, "Gigli." Spending years and years on an epic failure that was "Gigli," Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez made a wrong move by making a movie that is based solely on their Hollywood couple status.
2. Katherine Heigl, "Knocked Up." Heigl said thinks that the movie is a little sexist, portraying men as lovable, goofy and fun-loving while women are painted as humourless and uptight. Although Judd Apatow's comedy about unplanned pregnancy became a huge hit, the actress obviously wasn't having it.
3. Christopher Plummer, "The Sound of Music." Despite the fact that this film is considered a classic, its own lead actor wasn't always singing happy songs for it. Plummer refused to attend the film reunion back in 2005 and according to one of his acquaintances, Mr. Von Trapp himself referred to the film as "The Sound of Mucus."
4. Alec Guinness, "Star Wars." Obi Wan Kenobi of the 70's "Star Wars: A New Hope" said during production that he regret having embarked on the film. He thinks that although he likes them well enough, "Star Wars" for him wasn't at all an acting job. He thinks the dialogue kept on being changed but didn't even improve along the process.
5. Sylvester Stallone, "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot." Stallone said that he's made a lot of "truly awful" movies, but this one has got to be the worst. "If you ever want someone to confess to murder, just make him sit through that film. They will confess to anything after 15 minutes," he said.
