Johnny Depp Stars In 'Funny or Die' Movie As Donald Trump

For the sake of humor, "Funny or Die" launched a Donald Trump spoof. The satirical film had actor Johnny Depp playing Donald Trump.
While Depp was always known for his strange and outlandish movie roles like Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Carribean," he has never had the opportunity to play a New Hampshire GOP primary. Trump has always been spoofed in multiple shows online, and he even poked fun at himself during an episode of Saturday Night Live.
But having a high-profile actor like Johnny Depp lead the satire film is a gem. Depp will be starring in a nearly hour-long spoof called "Funny or Die Presents Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie." The likes of Ron Howard and Patton Oswalt are also in the film. The appropriately titled theme song, "The Art of the Deal," is performed by Kenny Loggins.
The film was directed by Jeremy Konner and written by former Onion editor Joe Randazzo. Michaela Watkins will also star in the film as Ivana Trump.
Owen Burke, Editor in Chief of "Funny or Die" said everyone who helped in the movie were cool about the project. "They all understood the importance of keeping this a secret with the understanding that the Internet loves to be surprised," Burke explained to CNN.
The movie was such a big secret that a lot of begging was done for everybody involved in the film to keep mum about it, Burke said.
The movie is shown as sort of a lost classic film. It opens up with Ron Howard explaining that the initial airing of the show in 1988 was pre-empted by "Monday Night Football" until it suddenly turned up at a yard sale in Arizona.
Talk about a precious find at a garage sale.
