Ford Motors Co. claims that the first thing a driver will experience when he drives the new Ford Fiesta is - fun. The automaker boasts that this car offers nimble handling combined with the comfort of heated leather trimmed front seats, along with smart connectivity through the integrated SYNC 3.
The SYNC 3 that comes with the Ford Fiesta is the next generation voice-activated technology. It is easy to use, with new features and new interface. This voice-activated system is not only a new innovation, but is also responsive. The driver needs only to say the word, and the car instantly responds to his commands.
There's no longer a need to hold the mobile when inside this car for it offers hands-free calling as well. The driver just needs to push a button and then make the call, and he will hear the response in the car's speakers.
With regards to power and economy, the new Ford Fiesta offers the best of both worlds. Ford Motors likes to put it this way: "Power Meets Economy."
According to Ford Motors Co, together with fuel-sipping miles per gallon, this car's performance is attention-grabbing. First off, the car's engine is turbocharged, with direct fuel injection and can deliver a huge 123 horsepower and 125 ft-lb of torque.
Surprisingly, with all that power, it only consumes 31 miles per gallon in the city, and an amazing 43 gallons on the highway. That's a combined 36 mpg only which makes it one of the most frugal cars today in terms of fuel consumption.
There are a lot more attractive features that the new Ford Fiesta is offering. They are part of the usual standards that Ford has incorporated in this car.
It's enough to say Ford Fiesta is used to receiving awards for manufacturing excellence. The complete line of Ford Fiestas was part of the 48 vehicles, across 13 categories of automobiles to be included in the Consumers Digest Best Buy recommendation for the 2016 model year.
