Charlie Sheen hasn’t exactly been getting a lot of positive media attention these days ever since his bizarre “winning” interview several months ago, but his most recent actions have garnered him some praise from both the media and his fans. The star of anger management donated $75,000 to a fund that will help a 10 year old girl in her battle against Alveoler Rhabdomyosarcoma. This is a form of cancer that usually attacks the soft tissue in the faces of children.
TMZ reports that Sheen made his donation after he met with the girl’s father, a cop, who told the actor about what his daughter was going through. A rep of Sheen says that this most recent donation is just one of numerous charitable donations that the actor often makes.
On Monday, Sheen had reportedly given money to highly controversial actress, Lindsay Lohan. According to reports, Lohan, who has been struggling with addiction and personal issues, was given a sum of $100,000 by Sheen. The two were once co-stars in Scary Movie 5.
Sheen says that he just wants a “thank you” from the struggling actress and that he is just waiting for a text message from her expressing her gratitude.
