A 46 year old father of three died of a heart attack while dancing to Psy’s “Gangnam Style” during a Christmas party in Darwen, Lancashire. The deceased was identified as Eamonn Kilbride, an IT manager from Lancashire. Kilbride had been trying to imitate the vigorous dance moves of the massive Youtube hit in front of his officemates and family before he suddenly collapsed on the stage.
His colleagues could only look on in shock as paramedics all tried in vain to revive the man. Eamonn’s wife, Julie, was present during the incident as she was celebrating the occasion alongside her husband and his officemates. Eamonn had begun complaining about feeling some pain in his chest a few moments before he collapsed. His wife tried to revive him through CPR until paramedics arrived on the scene minutes later.
The coroner who had examined Eamonn found that he had died from acute heart failure. Julie paid tribute to her husband of 23 years by saying that he was a very loving person and was someone who always prioritized his family above everything else.
The funeral of Mr. Kilbride is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 19th at Saint Mary’s Church in Burnley town.
