Being a teacher can be a pretty tough job considering all of the stress that comes with it. So it is only fitting that your job will be able to compensate you with a good salary. Where exactly should you go in order to get some good moolah from your teaching job?
Here is a list of the three best states for teachers to go to:
3. North Dakota – this state is number one on our list for a good reason. North Dakota does not plan to make any reductions with their school funding. The state also has a relatively low population, which usually means that college grads will immediately go somewhere else in search of adventure. Thus, leaving the state in need of some good educators. Starting salary here is usually around $25,000.
2. Alaska – Who would’ve thought that the coldest state in America would also be one of the best places to go teaching? The starting salary here is about $36,000 for beginning teachers.
1. Illinois – The state of Illinois has a starting salary of $37,500 and an average monthly wage of $55,000. The state continues to experience shortages in many areas with an emphasis on math, science, and special education.
