Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, produced by EA, promised exciting features and maps that were not seen in its first version. Additional features were added to make the game more challenging and captivating. With all these updates and feautres, it is safe to say that the game is blooming good.

It took more or less two years before it finally became available and got slated for a multiplatform release. Staying true to its promise, the game is now available on X-Box One. Players can play as both the plants and zombies with its multiplayer feature (up to 24 players) and 4-player co-op modes. However, if you want to harness your skills, you can go solo in split-screen against the AI across all game modes.

It can be recalled that the first-ever Plants vs Decades was a favorite both by children and adults. According to Metro, that version had one of the great mobile success stories in terms of financial success and criticisms.

The Garden Warfare 2 is filled with imagination and variety, which is actually good for gamers who are easily bored.

"Even compared to the first game, developer PopCap has abandoned all restraint, from transforming, laser-firing oranges; to flame-throwing zombie pirates; magic-casting rose bushes; and a midget zombie that can call in a giant MechWarrior style robot. The lack of interest in any sense of realism or plausibility is hugely refreshing, and leads to some pleasingly distinct character classes that all have multiple variants to unlock," the Metro report states.

Furthermore, in this sequel, gamers are rewarded with the ability to explore and earn both collectable items and a range of fun little mini-games. This, again, makes the game more exciting and adventurous.

Most of all, the greatest thing about this game is its simplicity. Even though it is jampacked with interesting new classes and abilities, the game in itself is still easy to use.

In short, Dave Rudden of IGN gave the following statements for his verdict: "The sheer amount of enjoyment in this full garden will keep me in the war for some time to come."

The Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is dveloped by Popcap.
