Christina Aguilera has already warmed up her red judge chair on this season's "The Voice" after replacing Gwen Stefani, but news have sprouted online that both Christina and Gwen may be returning to next year's "The Voice" season.
Christina Aguilera , Shakira and Gwen Stefani have been trying to break the "Girl curse" for several seasons. The male coaches seem to always take the trophy home. Historically, "The Voice" always had 3 male coaches and 1 female coach but since no female coach has ever won a season then it is likely to happen that both girl coaches are set to return next year. In an unprecedented move, the possibility of a girls versus boys competition may happen.
Christina Aguilera news reports have indicated that It's too early to even tell if Aguilera's team may be winning or losing right now but a plan has been revealed involving, Gwen Stefani, to give the ladies a win should Christina score a zero this year.
Which means if Christina does lose this year then the production team behind "The Voice" might use that as an excuse for Stefani and Aguilera to compete, not only against the boys, but with each other. The statistics of having a girl winner on the next season will then increase.
On the record, male judges Blake Shelton has had four wins and Adem Levine has totaled three wins.
Do you think Christina Aguilera will be able to break the "girl curse" this year? What do you think about having a female versus male coach competition on the next "The Voice" season?
