It's official. "Sherlock" season 4 is scheduled to premiere next year, January 2017 to be exact, and filming has officially begun.
While it is not yet truthfully known if Moriarty will return to wreak havoc in Sherlock Holmes' life again, reports can say that "Sherlock" season 4 will be coming back to life for some more detective sleuthing.
Production members behind "Sherlock" teased fans about the filming. Arwel Wyn Jones, the show's production designer decided to show some pictures of the current set. "Look, stage 2! Or is it 1? I can never remember," was his caption to the pictures, plus a host of online posts showed up with "Hmmmm! Now the gold paper connects to the green paper... To the tone of 'hip bone connected to the thigh bone," and lastly - maybe trying to spark some intrigue, "Right, now anyone remember how this goes?"
The set pictures were not enough to indicate what the pilot episode of "Sherlock" season 4 will be, but it is enough for the fans to get anxious. While fans tried to place theories about what the plot will be - like if Moriarty is really dead or alive and coming back to finish the job - it is still unclear what Steven Moffat is planning.
"Sherlock" season 4 may be less than a year away and while Benedict Cumberbatch is busy prepping his sleuthing skills, at the same time he is busy exercising his "strangeness" for his upcoming Marvel movie "Doctor Strange."
Do you think Moriarty will show up on the fourth season?
