Apple launched a new Twitter account that provides customer service to its users on Thursday, a progress to the company's expansion in social media that triggered an instant response to its users complaining about their devices.
The manufacturing company that makes phones, computers and watches based in Cupertino California stated on a tweet under the title @applesupport that it would offer its user tips and tricks online.
Chief executive of the social media platform Jack Dorsey showed high hopes for the new account that received instant praise on Twitter by tweeting, "A HUGE welcome to @AppleSupport! Now using Twitter to provide customer support through tweets and DMs!"
On midday Thursday, the account had already received over 48,000 followers where Apple users took advantage of the online venue seeking for customer service, where on the other hand some people just made use of the account to complain.
Even though Apple has a separate Twitter account for certain products such as Beat 1, iTunes and Apple Music, the customer service feature suggested for putting itself out there to grow comfortably even by means of everyone tweeting there problems.
In Apple's perspective puts the company in a special position. Other giant firms take use of the Twitter platform as a domain for customer support issues, where Twitter's feature is specifically built to motivate this kind of use, which allows businesses to easily initiate a direct message to a customer.
