Partnered with Great Place to Work, Fortune conducted an extensive surveys among employees in corporate America in order to identify the list of companies that will make it to the 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Riot Games, which arrived at No. 39 for the year 2016, greatly appreciated the recognition and announced that this means so much for them. They also added that they will never stop on improving their games. This is considered the second year that the gaming company Riot has been included on Fortune's list.
The No. 77 on the list Activision Blizzard said that the recognition is a reflection of how their employees feel regarding the culture they have built together. The company continues to value their employees' talent and creativity. They believe that the employees commitment to excellence is the reason why their company became a nice place to work.
Game Spot added that these recently recognized companies in the gaming industry are currently hiring. The report also explained how Fortune surveys two thirds of the employees based on a Trust Index Employee Survey. This is will be sent to a number of random sample employees.
The workers are asked to answer questions regarding their attitudes toward management credibility, internal camaraderie, and job satisfaction. The final third is determined by a system called "Culture Audit" which includes pay and benefit plans, diversity efforts, hiring methods, employee recognition programs, and internal communication.
