Everyone's favorite anime is still up in the air as "One Punch Man" season 2 seems to have conflicting reports regarding its release. Crossmap has explained that multiple sources have cited that the second installment may or may not happen this year.
Fortunately, The Bit Bag seems to have the real scoop - that "One Punch Man" season 2 is now in the works. The comic-adaptation has hyped up the manga fans and has already attracted a fanbase bigger than its webcomic and comic-verse. "One Punch Man" season 1 seemed to garner immediate success after its season finale on Dec. 20, 2015. Since everyone is looking forward to season 2, The Bit Bag has confirmed that Murata Yusuke, the creator of "One Punch Man", is already busy working on the second season.
What will the plot be this time? The material for "One Punch Man" season 2 will pick up where it ended on season 1. The Bit Bag also revealed the title of the first episode of "One Punch Man" season 2, which will be "The Strongest Hero." So, that means Lord Boros and Saitama will face off once again, but a new villain will show his face and wreak havoc - Amai Mask. Amai Mask is a "Class A Rank 1" hero and will play the Darth Vader of the season. Fans will be looking forward to a fight between Amai Mask and Saitama.
While Murata Yusuke is still busy in his drawing room and inking the sheets, fans can patiently wait for the anime to premiere in November or December this year.
