Kesha Vs. Dr. Luke Case Update: Producer Responds To Kelly Clarkson’s Comments With A Very Lengthy Book Passage From ‘The Soundtrack Of My Life’

When somebody like Kelly Clarkson told the world that Lukasz Gottwald, a.k.a Dr. Luke is difficult to work with and "kind of demeaning," people expected the producer to react negatively. In a report by Digital Spy, Dr. Luke apparently didn't like the shots fired by the "American Idol" winner, but he decided to respond with a long excerpt from Clive Davis' memoir titled "The Soundtrack of My Life."
"The songs were 'Since U Been Gone' and 'Behind These Hazel Eyes,'" an excerpt of the memoir read, detailing Clarkson and Dr. Luke's working relationship.
"I heard them, and told him that I really loved them both. Then I told him that I wanted them for Kelly Clarkson. He instantly lost his cool. 'Are you crazy?' he said. 'Didn't I tell you that I wanted these songs to go to rock artists? That I didn't want to be typecast? Now you want to give them to an American Idol winner!'"
Clarkson previously revealed in an interview that she was only forced to work with the producer. "I only worked with him because, literally, I got blackmailed by my label," she told radio station KIIS106.5. "They were like, 'We will not put your album out if you don't do this'. It was a really hard time for me."
Whatever his beef is with Clarkson, Dr. Luke has a ton of drama to deal with as he's currently battling a legal case against Kesha. As reports already claimed, the producer is being sued for sexual abuse by the singer. JobsNHire recently reported that the pop singer previously lost in her first of many court battles when the judge denied her contract release.
