The world faced another heartbreaking point as the man behind the success of the "Beatles" died at the age of 90. It was conveyed that George Martin has passed away last week, leaving behind unforgetable memories.
According to The Telegraph, "Sir George Martin, who died last week at the age of 90, never lost his sense of enthusiasm and wonder about new things and with the Beatles he showed an insatiable appetite for technological innovation, turning the studio itself into an instrument to create some of the greatest records of the age."
To prove the latter, one of the people that knew him the most, Henry Mee, which has produced a series of three canvases of Sir George stated, "When he came to my studio it was clear he was still very much open to new ideas and developments. He drove a self-parking Skoda, he had an iMac computer at his home which is not something you normally associate with an octogenarian."
"He was such a self-effacing man with a really gentle presence. He had a knack of putting people at ease and I could see how he could get musicians in the studio to relax and produce their best," he added.
George Martin was even noted as the "fifth Beatle" because of his unsurpassable and undeclared contributions to the band. In a post from On Point, it reported that the music of the Beatles conveyed diverse tones of joyful, sassy, and refreshing music and at the same time, portrayed the styles of the classically-trained genius and legendary producer.
As the world bids farewell to the man that has produced the "Beatles" music, and those that have witnessed his era and have enjoyed his talents and art, they will forever cherish the legacy and works that Sir George Martin has left behind.
