There is more than meets the eye for the episodes of "The Walking Dead." Despite the looming death and despair, season 6 spoilers have shown how hopelessness could be replaced with love.

According to a past post by the Inquisitr, love would slowly creep in the hearts of the characters, particularly for Daniel and Carol. Even though the series had always been dominated by despair, separation and death, the presence of love marks an era of hope and a new beginning.

The same post added, "Rather than hooking up with Daryl Dixon, it looks like Carol will be looking to a member of the original Alexandria community for comfort as Rick and the survivors prepare to take on Negan." Although it remains unclear how Carol and Daryl's romance would end, the fans will be in a limbo as Carol is shown to be kissing Tobin instead of Daryl in the upcoming scenes.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Reporter teased that another major character will be axed from the show.  According to one of the executive producers, Scott M. Gimple, "Glenn, from the moment we meet him on the show, is somebody who oddly runs into danger. Up until the point that he found Maggie, he was really not thinking about his own life too much, and there's dialogue in the show directly to that."

"But once he got together with Maggie, then he had this thing to fight for, and he finds himself throwing himself into danger again on regular basis. Even in [the midseason premiere], it's all for Maggie that he has this near-death experience."

"There's something about the DNA of that character and the way he operates and sees the world that he's someone who finds himself in those situations a lot. I think everybody finds themselves in those situations a lot as would all of us in that world - except Robert Kirkman, who says he would throw himself off a bridge," Gimple added.
