After the mixed reaction that the novel "Five Nights At Freddy's: The Silver Eyes" caused its readers and "FNaF" enthusiasts, Scott Cawthon together with Warner Bros. are bringing to life Freddy Fazbear's Diner and the horror-filled animatronic characters to the big screen.
The movie project which is speculated to come out anytime soon in 2016 will ensure that viewers can experience the terror that these characters will make. Korea Portal relayed that its appointed director, Gil Kenan, will not shortcut the process of bringing the characters to life. Kenan who is also known from the movie "Monster House" will make use of real animatronics for the movie instead of CGI in the character's sequencing.
Apart from this, the outlet also detailed that Cawton will still have his hands full in the process of making the movie. The author and creator of "Five Nights at Freddy's" is expected to deliver the same story behind the game into the movie. In addition, the appointed producers of the upcoming "FNaF" film will be Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith productions.
Although what's not clear yet is if the movie will answer the mind-boggling events in the video game or it will tackle a different storyline just like the recently released book of Cawthon entitled "Five Nights At Freddy's: The Silver Eyes."
"Unfortunately, hours after diehard fans finished reading, it became clear that Cawthon took several liberties to make his novel tell a different story. This made those looking for answers angry, and the author replied by saying that the book and games are based off the same source material on different timelines." cited Design & Trend.
The upcoming movie of "Five Nights at Freddy's" still has no exact date of showing, but it was suggested that the movie is slated for a 2016 release.
