One Direction may be on a hiatus right now, but fans are wondering if each of them will pursue solo projects - or solo careers. Teen Vogue has scooped out the details as confirmed by Simon Cowell.
Jobs & Hire previously reported that Zayn Malik went off to build his solo career. Now, the former 1D band member has had quite a successful run since releasing his debut album "Pillowtalk."
Are his 1D friends following Malik's path to success? Or will they be doing individual stunts until they regroup? Simon Cowell told E! That the boys are on a well deserved break as of the moment, but he claims there will be more from the boys. "Yeah, there will be more. I'm absolutely sure of that," says Cowell. According to MTV News, Cowell himself noted that there are other ventures in the works.
Fans are eager for One Direction to get back in the game even if it means pursuing solo projects. "It was always going to come... Lots of things are going to be announced over the next few months," Cowell explained. Cowell's statements are but a confirmation that their solo projects will definitely happen. Now, it's just a matter of "when"?
The 1D producer hopes and knows that their solo projects will be successful and he even went so far as mentioning Zayn Malik even after he left the band, as told by Mirror. "We were involved with what label he went on, and he's still signed to our company, so, he's done fantastic, and he's showing that he's a great vocalist and very talented," Cowell explained.
