Jaimie Alexander is now less sure about her appearance for the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok", as reported by ComicBookMovie.com on Thursday.
Back in July of last year, Alexander was 100% positive about her return to "Thor: Ragnarok", but the re-writing of script and her time-commitment to "Blindspot", her NBC television series, have made her unsure about being able to reprise her role as Lady Sif for the next Thor movie.
"I am not 100% sure at this moment," Alexander told CBM's Ed Gross. "I know that they're changing things with the script and that sort of thing, so I am literally in limbo. I know probably less than you do about it. I would love to do it, but wheether or not it's going to work on my short hiatus from Blindspot I'm not sure. There could be a lot of factors when it comes to that decision." She also added that if she were to play Lady Sif again, it would absolutely be "gravy".
"If I get to play her again," she added, "it's absolutely gravy. That's why when Marvel asked me if I would cross the 'Thor' films into 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', I said yes. I love Clark Gregg; he is a fantastic guy and that whole cast is wonderful. They're such a great, tight family over there and they're more than welcoming. I also got to explore more of who Sif really is, and play around with humor a little bit with her, which I didn't really get a chance to do in the films."
According to Alexander, she loves Lady Sif's character and strength and her desire to protect everyone around her. "There are some similarities between her and Jane from Blindspot. I'm a huge comic book fan, and who doesn't dream of being a superhero when they're a kid? The fact that I got to put on a costume and play this amazing superhero was just a dream come true. It was like the little kid inside me was very, very excited."
