Microsoft Upgraded Users To Windows 10 Without Their Consent

Microsoft angered its users last weekend for not telling them about the Windows 10 upgrade done to their systems. The problem is that they don't have a clue what the tech giant is up to and whether this thing will continue.
For a couple of weeks now, there were reports of forced Windows 10 upgrades. However, the complaints dramatically increased last Friday evening.
An increasing number of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users have complained that their operating systems were upgraded by Microsoft to Windows 10 without their knowledge and consent.
Some who have no knowledge about the strategies of the software giant may consider this as only a nuisance. But others who have experienced the same thing in October last year suspect that Microsoft might be into something again.
That report stated that the software company 'accidentally' upgraded Windows 7 and 8.1 PCs to Windows 10. The company at that time also forced the upgrade on clueless users for one week before it corrected the 'mistake.'
Affected were Windows users who have their Automatic Update turned on. If there is a check mark on that feature, it gives the software giant the ability to blithely start the Windows 10 upgrade.
It the upgrade process starts and the user wanted to stop it, it will leave the PC in limbo. There is no information provided by the tech giant on the right way to stop the upgrade process once it starts.
Microsoft seems to have this practice of doing things on their system without first informing those who will be affected. For instance, the company quietly dropped its Bitcoin support used in Microsoft Store payments.
The software giant has added a note to its website recently stating that it will no longer accept bitcoins in its store on Windows 10 devices. But the company did not reveal why this sudden change of heart.
