As "Uncharted 4's" launch draws near, all eyes are also focused on another Naughty Dog title. Reports are claiming that the highly anticipated sequel, "The Last of Us 2," is on the horizon and updates about the new game could be revealed after Nathan Drake's last adventure hits the stands.
According to latest reports, Naughty Dog is already deep in the development of "The Last of Us 2." Master Herald noted that an industry expert has already addressed the rumors circulating about the game's release.
"According to Shu Yoshida, a Japanese legend in the tech industry, the game sequel to 'The Last of Us' had already been in gaming circle talks following the launch of the first game almost three years ago," the publication shared. "He disclosed that Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann has talked about possible ideas for a potential sequel and also some experiments that they want to do."
As of writing, Neil Druckmann has not denied rumors about the new title. In fact, he had been very honest to share that they have been exploring ideas for the sequel already. "The answer is - and this is totally honest, and I've said this in the past - that when Bruce (Straley) and I moved over to Uncharted 4, we were brainstorming ideas for The Last Of Us 2 with new characters; ideas for TLOU 2 with Joel and Ellie; ideas for a sci-fi game; ideas for a fantasy game, and building prototypes for each one of those ideas," he said as reported by Movie Pilot.
