This may be a new definition to being "fashionably late" as recent reports have indicated that fans were waiting too long for their idol, Madonna, to show up. The Queen of Pop arrived two and a half hours late, and stumbling, at her Brisbane concert.
As reported by TMZ, the show was scheduled at 9:00 PM but the "Like A Virgin" hit maker didn't show up until 11:22 PM. In the same article, she was reported to be habitually late for most of her concerts and has come up with multiple excuses. However, being 2.5 hours late was too much for the fans that they demanded refunds and booed her off the stage.
It also came to a point where "Live Nation," the team behind her tour is already warning fans that she's bound to show up late. In response to the public's outrage, the multi-awarded singer said, "It's you people that get here early, that's the problem. Stay home, do your hair and makeup, have a tequila. Roll yourself a fat one." Sources close to Madonna explained that everything she does onstage is choreographed and on purpose.
That's not the only news that made the Australian Headlines. As stated in another TMZ article, Madonna exposed a 17-year-old's breast. Australian law prohibits anyone from touching a female's breasts, even over clothing. However, the minor didn't complain and thought what Madonna did was "awesome."
Even her odd behavior and tardiness has caught Wendy Williams' attention. Check out the Youtube video below and tell us what you think about Madonna's recent antics.
