The rumored Galaxy Note 6 release date is believed to be this summer. Moreover, the device will reportedly come with Android N.
According to TechnoBuffalo, Korean business publication The Bell claimed that the Galaxy Note 6 release date may happen by July. The device is said to have the codename "Grace."
It was previously reported that the Galaxy Note 6 release date will come before iPhone 7's launch. Apple's new device will reportedly be introduced by mid-September, along with iPhone 7 Plus.
The upcoming phablet is said to have a 5.8-inch display, an inch bigger than its predecessor. There are also speculations that the Galaxy Note 6 release date will offer 6 GB of RAM to buyers as well as 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage options.
Moreover, it is assumed that Samsung is developing a hybrid design for its future Note devices. The Galaxy Note 6 may be a handset that can be docked with a large-form tablet, which can also be docked with a keyboard.
BGR remained skeptical since Samsung usually unveils its Galaxy Note products by late August or early September. The publication did note that its predecessor, the Note 5, was revealed in a special event on Aug. 13 last year.
Plus, Google would be going out of character if they launched Android N without showing it off at Google I/O. it is highly unlikely that Android N will be released as early as July.
Phone Arena reported that Android N will have a new notification system, split-screen multi-tasking, quick reply, quick setting toggles and subheadings for settings, among others.
Yibada noted that Android N is assumed to stand for Nutella. If the Galaxy Note 6 release date will push through in July, it is probable that Google will unleash the Nexus 7 2016 tablet first and the two devices will run on the upcoming Android N.
