Apple Rumors 2016 [UPDATE]: 5 Exciting Speculations About Upcoming Apple Products

After Apple's much-talked-about Apple press event on Mar. 21, the online world has been filled with tons of Apple rumors. And while many thought that the recently concluded Apple's media event was quite uninteresting, it paved the way for 5 exciting speculations about the upcoming Apple products.
1. Apple's iCloud Infrastructure Projects
Based on the latest Apple rumors, the American multinational technology company is reportedly working on at least six internal projects to bring its cloud infrastructure in-house. According to 9to5Mac, Apple is working to build its own servers, networking equipment as well as creating "systems that could help developers to power their apps."
One of those internal projects is Apple's "Project McQueen." But as of now, the company will reportedly continue to depend on third parties, including Google, Amazon and Microsoft, to power its iCloud service.
2. iPhone with Apple SIM
Another Apple rumors report claimed that the company might launch an iPhone with an Apple SIM soon. Gear & Style Cheat Sheet notes that the new embedded Apple SIM, which is used in the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro could be used to the rest of Apple's product range, hinting the possibility of its release with iPhone 7.
Apple, however, has not yet made any official announcement if the embedded Apple SIM will be in iPhone 7 or in other iPhone models.
3. Apple Pay Expansion
Latest Apple rumors have it that Apple Pay might expand to mobile websites this year, Re/code learns. In fact, multiple sources claimed that Apple has been telling potential partners that its payment service will become available on websites.
In addition, Apple Pay will reportedly expand before the holiday shopping season. And the expansion could be announced at WWDC in June.
4. New Apple MacBook
Even though Apple did not announce about any new MacBooks at its March 21 media event, recent Apple rumors have it that an "early 2016 12-inch MacBook with Retina display is probably on its way. Aside from that, Apple will also reportedly introduce new 13-inch and 15-ince MacBooks by July, another 9to5Mac report reveals.
5. MacBook Pro's USB-C Port
Apple has reportedly a USB-C to Lightning cable and as per The Next Web, it could be part of a new MacBook Pro feature. The new cable will enable users to plug in an iPhone, iPad or iPod directly into MacBooks for data transfer or to power the iOS device and as for its price, it cost $25 and $35 for one and two-meter lengths respectively.
