A lot is at stake for the Apple iPhone SE. Will the company's upcoming device be able to match the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs?
In their comparison of the Apple iPhone SE and the Samsung Galaxy S7, Android Pit stated the similarities and differences between the two phones. The criteria included design, build, display, processor, storage capacity, camera, software as well as battery life.
The publication noted that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is a premium phone with a sleek metallic finish. Coming at 142.4 x 69,6 x 7.9mm, it will also no longer have a rocking motion when placed down a flat surface since its rear camera now only protrudes by 0.46 mm.
On the other hand, Apple's iPhone SE is an elegantly small device. Its screen size is at 4 inches.
The 5-inch Galaxy S7 boasts a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, though. Contrast and saturation are reportedly strong and top quality as well as viewing angles.
Notably, the Apple iPhone SE does not feature 3D Touch technology. The company has promised that the small phone will be living large.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is powered by a Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 chipset. This is said to result to a "lightning-fast user experience that showcases Android at its finest."
It was previously reported that the Apple iPhone SE specs will include the same A9 chip as with its 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6S counterparts. It is believed that the device can best any 2016 Android flagship handset in terms of performance at a lower cost.
Meanwhile, Morning News USA reported that the iPhone SE may be defeated by Samsung Galaxy S7 mini. There is still no clear announcement that a smaller version of the S7 will be developed, though.
Apparently, the S7 mini may have a 4.6-inch display. Moreover, there are speculations that the device will have a completely new processor and 3 GB of RAM.
