Looking for a job in a tech company in New York? Want to find in a fun way? Meet Uncubed - an event that will be held this Friday at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea where companies like Twitter, Facebook and more will be hiring employees.
An anticipated 1,100 job seekers will get to impress reps from the likes of Tumblr, Etsy and Facebook during Friday's gathering at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, according to the New York Daily News.
The event is in its third year - and is growing, said Tarek Pertew, co-founder of SoHo-based Wakefield, which is organizing similar fairs on the West Coast and Chicago later this year.
"Job fairs are boring - they suck," Pertew said. "You're standing on lines, you're going through the motions. ... We know Uncubed's style will become standard fare in due time."
