Domination and supremacy are the latest trends these days and even in the social media world it is happening as well. In line with that, notions of Facebook and KakaoTalk going head to head with each other continue to rise.
It has been indicated that Facebook is shifting its strategies and services to counter the service offerings of KakaoTalk and other SNS applications. Furthermore, it stands out that Facebook aims on upgrading its Messenger and turn it into an "Everything App" that is similar to that of KakaoTalk.
Also, it appears that the upgrade would set a new trend on how Facebook users would utilize the Messenger app to render payments online. In addition, now code found inside Messenger suggests Facebook plans to turn on a feature to make digital transactions or even pay for physical goods in stores, as reported by Forbes.
The same report added on to note, "A forthcoming software release will allow people with a Facebook Messenger account to pay for goods in person or pay directly in Messenger when you pick up the item without the need for cash."
On a different note, a former report from Jobs & Hire indicated that KakaoTalk and Line is becoming more popular in the social media world and it has also been noted to increase connections and assists jobseekers in finding their dream jobs.
Indeed, it appears that the desire of Facebook to dominate the world of business and trades is rising. Seeing the skyrocketing success of KakaoTalk in the limelight, the battle for supremacy has begun and it is just a matter of time before the outcome is known.
