Beyoncé proves that she can do almost anything. The world reknowned singer has recently launched her first clothing line, and news sites are already confirming that this will boost her net worth even more.
In recent interview, the "Formation" singer detailed the reason behind the name of her new line, Ivy Park. The performer, wife and mother dished on the main goal of her new venture and how she plans to influence women through fashion.
"I called it Ivy Park because a park is our commonality," she told Elle. "We can all go there; we're all welcomed. It's anywhere we create for ourselves. For me, it's the place that my drive comes from. I think we all have that place we go to when we need to fight through something, set our goals and accomplish them."
"We have to care about our bodies and what we put in them. Women have to take the time to focus on our mental health - take time for self, for the spiritual, without feeling guilty or selfish. The world will see you the way you see you, and treat you the way you treat yourself," she continued.
The singer and her husband, hip-hop mogul Jay Z, is not stopping anytime soon. Apart from Ivy Park, the couple also has Tidal, a streaming service spearheaded by the rapper.
According to reports, Beyoncé's new clothing line proves to be a huge success this early. Stores like Top Shop, Nordstrom, and Zalando will be housing the singer's new label starting Apr. 14, 2016.
"The 200-piece Ivy Park collection will feature items that cost between $30 and $200," Hollywood Take reported. "And early signs indicate it will be a huge success. Ivy Park trended all over Twitter the day of Beyoncé's announcement. The Ivy Park Instagram page also has over 42,000 followers already. So the line should make her $450 million net worth even higher."
