The Google Nexus 7 release date may be revealed real soon. Furthermore, reports are claiming that the device will be available by next year.
Australia Network News reported that the Google Nexus 7 release date may be announced during the company's Annual I/O Developer Conference scheduled for May. The device could also be unveiled at the event.
There are speculations that the Google Nexus 7 launch may happen next year. The third generation of the device is believed to be manufactured by Huawei, according to the website.
Rumors claimed that someone on Weibo revealed that the company is currently developing the new tablet. Huawei, who also created the Nexus 6P, is said to have been enlisted for the Nexus 7's development.
LG, on the other hand, may be in-charge of creating Google's high-end smartphone. The company has already produced two high-end Nexus phones, the Nexus 4 and 5.
According to Gospel Herald, LG has already signed a three-year contract with Google. Although details are still unknown, there have been claims that the company will build the upcoming Nexus devices.
It was previously reported that the Nexus 7 specs will feature a 3D Touch display. The upcoming device is also said to run on Android N. The Nexus 7 is also said to support Google's 3D Touch feature. Xiaomi and OPPO, among others, will be using the feature sometime this year as well.
It is widely believed that the device will have a 7-inch display and powered by NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor. It may also have 4 GB of RAM.
Kpopstarz noted that the Google Nexus 7 will have the same introductory price once it gets released. This is believed to be the company's tactic to attract more customers.
