Walmart Hiring Nearly 200 Jobs In Rockingham County

A recent press release from Walmart announced that the giant retail store is hiring almost 200 workers in its Timberville, VA outlet. Full-time and part-time positions are available. This will be a new store which is slated to open this summer.
Most of the hired employees will start in June to assist in the preparation for the grand store opening.
Interested job seekers are advised to tender in their applications immediately at Walmart's temporary hiring center located at 182 Neff Ave., Suite W1. There will be a store staff that will accept job applications from Monday through Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. up to 7 p.m.
The store is also accepting applications on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interested applicants may also call up telephone number 540-433-1453, or they could apply online through the store's official website.
"We are excited to meet new applicants and build a team to serve the Timberville community," said Angie Walters, the store manager.
Walmart also said that these positions are open to any eligible U.S. veteran who is honorably discharged from the service through the Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, which started on Memorial Day 2013.
Almost a month ago, Walmart also invited job seekers to apply for the 95 jobs that it has opened in its new Rockingham County Neighborhood Market. This outlet will start selling merchandise in the spring.
Job seekers were also instructed to give their applications at the same Walmart temporary hiring center.
Full time and part time positions are also offered. Most of the newly hired employees will work initially in the preparation of the store's big opening day scheduled on May.
Walmart is a company that provides attractive benefits program to its associates. These include health and well-being benefits and the corresponding 401(k).
Based on company statistics, Walmart has promoted 7,600 associates in Virginia to jobs that provide higher pay with more responsibility. About 4,600 part-time employees were also promoted to full-time employment.
