iPhone 5 Debuts "Music Every Day" Commercial to Rescue Switchers Due to Unreasonable Repair Costs [VIDEOS & REPORT]

The iPhone 5 commercial came at a time amidst news of $229 repairs to broken screens of the popular smart phone.
The video ad explains, "Every day, more people enjoy their music on the iPhone than any other phone."
The 370,000-views one-minute ad displays various people at a harbor, in the sun, running to class, exercising on a jumprope, or dancing in a car, all listening to music on their iPhones.
Contrasting the mellow advertisement with an advertisement from its rival, you can see the reason why people may or may not switch:
With a third of iPhone users breaking their device every year, Apple has been insensitive about its pricing for the screen repair of the new iPhone 5. The reported $229 repair of broken screen is higher than the $200 contract-bound price that many Apple fans have paid.
With Apple's tighter control on supplies, third party repairers are unwilling to fix the phone due to its high cost. However, the truth is that the iPhone 5 is easier to repair than any older versions of the device, said several repair and teardown websites because of how the opening is in the front instead of the back unlike other outdated iPhones.
If a user's iPhone 5 is still working and there have been experiences of breaking his or her iPhone in the past, then it is better for users to purchase Apple Care, to reduce the repair cost to $50.
