Jaguar F-PACE Release Date And Features: New SUV Is Ian Callum's 'Greatest Achievement'

The Jaguar F-PACE remains to be one of the most anticipated SUV releases this year. Several automobile websites have already released positive reviews of the new offering after test driving a unit last week.
Trusted site Top Gear, had a lot of nice things to say about the F-PACE's design and power, and has even called it one of the most beautiful SUV's ever made. "SUVs don't tend to be pretty. Purposeful, occasionally, but rarely pretty," the publication noted.
"The F-Pace is different because it bodywork flows beautifully, it's proportions are spot on and it really will turn heads. Ian Callum is on a roll with the F-Type, XE and XF, but this is perhaps his greatest achievement - making a car from a genre associated with bluff workhorses a thing of real elegance."
The outlet also dished on the F-PACE's new infotainment system called InControl Touch. Top Gear claimed that it will be a major upgrade of the XE's infotainment system that most users frowned upon.
So how was it to drive the F-PACE? "What the F-Pace smacks of is a company that's studied the market, listened to its customers and delivered a product that people are screaming out for," Top Gear noted. "It's fast, but not backbreaking, tall enough to peer over traffic and just about tough enough to deal with some light excursions off-road."
"It's spacious, too, and - something I haven't mentioned yet, but perhaps the most important point of all - it looks fantastic. For me, it's the best-looking SUV out there. If this doesn't become Jaguar's best-selling model ever, I'll be stunned," the review added.
The Jaguar F-PACE is reportedly slated for a Q3 or Q4 2016 release date.
