The second time this year, at 2:50am on Memorial Day, flames broke out on the Royal Caribbean vessel Grandeur of the Seas on its path to Bahamas.

The 2224 groggy passenger and 796 crew members on board were confirmed safe in a statement by Royal Caribbean.

The blaze ripped through the third and fourth deck, harming the cruise that has just been revamped for almost 50 million USD. The incident lasted 2 hours and was put out at around 5am.

No afflictions to the passengers were reported, and the cruise has organized flights for all travelers to fly from Bahamas back to the U.S.

As the captain of the ship publicized the danger, room attendants reportedly called passengers out of staterooms, asking them to bring with them their flotation devices.

Some of the passengers were reported to have vomited and were "freaking out," as CNN mentioned.

The travelers were then taken to their muster station, to wait there until the blaze has been put out. HVAC was shut off due to smoke and the ship became hot. Passengers received bottled water and were helped by the crew if any want arose. Parents were able to use the bathrooms when they needed to, the crews took care of the babies and provided them with formula.

The passengers will be given full recompense of their trip fare, and a pass for a future sea trip. The week-long trip had been abridged to three days due to this development.

Burnt equipment is in sight at the back of the craft. It is possible that the blaze could be due to engine problems.

Carnival Corp was another cruise line that had trouble with their engines this year. The fire made many passengers live through cold foods, lack of hygiene, and blackouts.

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship has cancelled its next venture out to the seas, due to the time needed to accomplish repairs.
