Fernando and Guillermina Garcia held their 5 newborn children over the weekend at University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City.
Aiding the development of their lungs, two boys and three girls were born on the 32nd week after their conception, 3 weeks more time in the womb than most quintuplets.
The babies weighed 2-3 pounds each, and were born by Cesarean Section.
The amount of quintuplet births have been increasing due to the increase in popularity for in-vitro fertilization. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention numbers 37 babies who were born together with four or more siblings in 2010.
40 medical personnels were guided by 8 doctors and assured the Utah couple's birth.
Below is a video of doctors performing C-Section on a set of quintuplets born to Bill Phillips.
