CONFIRMED: You iPhone Has a Limited Lifespan

Apple has confirmed it: the iPhone, together with the Apple Watch, has a limited lifespan, and it's only just three years. On the other hand, other Apple products such as Mac computers and the Apple TV can last for four years.
A newly published question and answer section on Apple's site outlined the company's efforts for an environmental push. The section also outlined the company's expected amount of greenhouse gases they'll contribute in that span of time.
However, the most intriguing part of the section is the discussion with regard to Apple products' life expectancy, which, again, is only three years."Years of use, which are based on first owners, are assumed to be four years for OS X and tvOS devices and three years for iOS and watchOS devices," the Apple report stated.
This statement, according to Telegraph, answers the conspiracies related to Apple building its products to last a specific amount of time. These conspiracies have, for long, circulated across the Internet.
The Guardian, however, noted that this assessment "doesn't take into account the recycling of devices, their reconditioning and their resale." The company has received accusations stating that they have intentionally do some techniques that cause the slowing down of iPhones. However, there is not enough evidence to prove this theory.
Also, as part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness, Apple included several applications in its AppStore called the Apps for Earth. These apps are created in cooperation with World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF). The goal of this project is to both raise money and support for conservation.
There are over 27 applications that Apple helped build to help promote the WWF's mission. Among the latter's missions are conservation of wildlife, oceans, forests, and fresh water. This campaign is similar to Apple's Campaign for (RED) launched in 2
