The Honest Company has been dedicated to helping people live a happy and healthy life. The company was founded by Jessica Alba & Christopher Gavigan in 2012 and holds safe and effective products in a wide range of consumer categories.

It has more than 4,000 retail sites across North America and caters to the U.S and Canada markets. But its success wouldn't be possible without the dedicated staff responsible for making the company it is right now.

The Honest Company is currently looking for a Lead Designer that would play a key role in innovating customer experiences alongside a team that thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The job role requires that the hire is knowledgeable in a responsive design framework across devices such as tablets, desktop PCs and mobile web presences. The company describes the ideal candidate to have a vast experience in interactive but simple customer experiences.

The minimum requirements necessary include a Bachelor's degree in the field with 4 or more years experience in professional design and development.

Aside from the desired characteristics of being a great decision maker and team player, The Honest Company requires the candidate to possess a solid understanding of front-end development and design aptitude, and a proven ability in developing responsive sites with heavy front-end user interaction. A solid understanding of browser-specific rendering and experience working in an e-commerce environment is also required. Additional expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and jQuery/Javascript and front end coding is a plus.

It's also a good idea to have an online portfolio, with e-commerce sites and transactional landing pages and associated projects, handy when submitting your application. For more information check out Jessica Alba's The Honest Company hiring page for Lead Designer.

Wouldn't it be a treat if you get to meet Jessica Alba in person if you get hired?
