There are people who are wary of celebrities since they believe that famous people, especially those who are still alive, live in a different world from the hoi polloi. So these unbelievers advise the masses not to listen to the advices of famous people.
It cannot be denied that famous celebrities are in a category of their own that somehow, in one way or another has led them to accumulate great riches and some level of 'respectability.'
You just have to accept that celebrities can dish out advices which we ordinary people can use to better ourselves. So, whether you are on this or that other side of the road, check out these celebrity career advices that may help you achieve your career goals.
1. Beyonce Knowles says "Don't be afraid of failure."
You can't fault this advice no matter where it comes from because it really rings true. Coming from a celebrity like Beyonce, it acquires a different hue. When celebrities fail, it usually involves a lot of money.
To us, the groveling masses, that is hard to fathom because we are afraid to lose the small money, position, or respectability we thought we have. But take it to heart: don't be afraid to fail because in failure you learn a lot.
2. Denzel Washington says "Be humble."
Words like that coming from a famous Academy Award winner are somewhat unbelievable. But no matter what you think, that is very, very true. You can't stay at the top of your game if you are always looking down on the other fellows who are trying to catch up on you.
Remember: it is faster on the way down compared to the time you spend in going up. The pain of the thud at the bottom floor is much more excruciating when your downward velocity is at a grueling speed.
